When my husband Pete and I got pregnant with our first son Chase, we were so excited to see what he would be like. Who would he look like and who’s traits would he posses? The same went for our next two pregnancies which turned out to be daughters. Continue Reading...

The Kitchen Is Closed!
Like most parents I know, I am always trying to find magical solutions to problems with my kids and their behavior. Although, I haven’t come up with ways to stop nose picking, arguing with one another and potty talk, I think I may be on to something! Continue Reading...
New Friends
When we become mothers, and then for those of us who become “stay at home moms” we find ourselves losing our identity. We wake up to kids demands and rush around getting breakfast made, teeth brushed and socks found, only to continue on with diapers, naps, lunches, bus pick ups, dinners, bath time and then bedtime routines. Life with toddlers is always entertaining and I can’t help but chuckle many times during the day at the things they ask me. Here are just a few examples of what I said just in the past few days. Continue Reading...
Making Changes
My New Year’s Resolution came to me the other day while making my five year old son’s lunch. I was making him a turkey and cheese sandwich per his request and before I put it in his lunch box, I decided to cut it in the shape of a heart. Since he is in Kindergarten, I know that I have limited time to do to these kinds of things before he starts getting embarrassed. I still have time left where I can show him my affection in public.
