Aim High, Class of 2025

Last night after preschool graduation, I excitedly looked through the packet of questions that Chase had answered. When I got to the part where he was asked what he wanted to be when he grew up I chuckled a little. Would he say a super hero or pirate since that is his latest obsession? Maybe his answer would be a farmer because of his love of animals or doctor since he likes to help people. Nope…..this is what he said,

” Just a daddy, because then I can go to work and because you can sleep with your shirt off.”

Way to aim high kid! Glad we’ve been teaching you what’s important in life! I am afraid to hear what Reese will say in a couple of years!

Well at least he didn’t say a Mommy so he could sit around all day eating Bon Bons and watching soaps (cause we all know that is what you do with 3 kids! 🙂

I have to tell a story that I have been hearing for years from my family. When my dad and uncles were younger the adults asked all the kids what they wanted to be and one by one they listed firefighter, astronaut and such… then it came to one of my dads friends and he paused… and said “I think I will be a green onion.” Of course everyone was in shock and asked WHY? He said “Well looks like all the good jobs have been taken”. 🙂
